Psychotherapy & Counselling.

Newcastle, Tynemouth, London & Online

A warm welcome. Deciding to have therapy is an opportunity to discuss things with an experienced, skilled, non-judgmental, professional. With someone not involved in your day-to-day life. How does this work?

It works as I specialise in traditional and up-to-date effective therapeutic practices, including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Single Session Therapy, Inner Child Healing, Relationship Therapy and Mindfulness.

Developing a unique therapeutic relationship with each client is key.

I mainly work in a psychodynamic way to help understand the origins of any current issues. I also help build coping and resilience skills to manage current feelings and emotions using a person-centred approach. If appropriate, I combine several skill sets.

We will work together using a tailored approach to develop an individualised, bespoke programme of care that is flexible yet robust enough to meet your changing needs.

Taking the first step to seek help can be daunting. I hope to make the process a little easier for you.

My way of working is steady, affirming and nurturing. Warm, yet direct and occasionally challenging, I can help you ease yourself out of your comfort zone and make any changes needed to move forward.

My clients are both UK-based and international. They include individuals, couples and groups. Some are in the public eye, others not so. I offer face to face sessions and online. Therapy can be a set number of sessions – usually 6 to 16 sessions for short term work, or ongoing deeper analytical work. I also offer single session therapy.
